It was a battle of the Cannes award winners at the super-fancy Eden Roc hotel in the south of France this weekend as Kirsten Dunst (winner of the Best Actress award for Melancholia) threw a wild party that disturbed Brad Pitt (star of the Palm d’Or winter The Tree of Life) and his partner Angelina Jolie.

Since the script was leaked earlier this week, Film Industry has been all abuzz over Quentin Tarantino’s new project, Django Unchained. Tarantino is going back into the squasy historic territory of his 2009 film Inglorious Basterds for Django, the story of a slave who is trained in the nice art of retaliation by a mystical German bounty hunter.

Well known director Tarantino, who can have purdy much any actor he wants in his films, has beenmaking some acentric casting choices for Django so far. First, he said he wanted valuable guy Will Smith in the gritty title role; now, he’s saying he wants Stephanie Germanotta, better known as Lady Gaga, for a role in his film.

When you think about it, their relationship actually makes sense- Gaga is well known for her acentric footgear, and Tarantino is well known for his love of feet (gossip has it he makes all celebrities tryout for him unshoed). It’s a match made in foot juju heaven!

Now that NBC has refused to pick up the show, it’s unlikely that “Wonder Woman” will ever see the flickering light of viewer’s TVs, though it may discover new life as a Web series. Mr. Skin doesn’t need a golden lassoof truth to tell you: as long as Adrianne is in a bikini, he doesn’t care where she shows up!
